Under the Authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the U.S. Environment Protection Agency (EPA) intends to purchase a subscription service of the Online Edition to Science Magazine. This procurement will be a negotiated, fixed-price sole source task order going to American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The EPA intends to purchase the service as “brand name” as outlined in the request for quote (RFQ). This is a one-time purchase for the subscription. Government will make one award for this requirement, and American Association for the Advancement of Science’s (AAAS) response was due on February 23, 2012. Award was made on March 1, 2012.
