PR-HQ-09-12428 Health Effects Division: Consolidate, Review and Evaluate Product and Residue Chemistry Data

The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Office of Pesticides Programs (OPP), Health Effects Division (HED) anticipates one award for a level of effort, cost reimbursable type contract with a one-year base period and four 12-month option periods. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued under full and open competition and conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15: Contracting by Negotiation.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for Environmental Consulting Services is 541620.  The total labor hour estimate for this effort is approximately 60,000 hours, including all options.  All responsible offerors may submit a proposal.

Solicitation PR-HQ-09-12428 “Health Effects Division: Consolidate, Review and Evaluate Product and Residue Chemistry Data” is scheduled to be posted on or about June 29, 2009.  Proposals will be due thirty days from the posting date.  The requirement will be for support in registration and ongoing reregistration of pesticides under the mandates of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).

No printed copies of the RFP will be available. A Sources Sought Notice was previously posted on December 10, 2008 on EPA's website and on FedBizOpps under PR-HQ-09-10606 to gather industry’s input, especially small business on EPA’s possible follow-on contract to EP-W-04-052.  It is the responsibility of interested parties to regularly monitor EPA's website for updates to this procurement.
