Award Notice: September 28, 2009

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER), Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSRTI), Technology Innovation and Field Services Division (TIFSD), Analytical Services Branch (ASB) has a requirement for inorganic analytical services as specified in the Inorganic Superfund Methods (ISM01.1). ISM01.1 defines the analytical methods for the isolation, detection, and quantitative measurement of 23 metals (including mercury) and cyanide in aqueous/water and soil/sediment samples. The Statement of Work (SOW) also includes methods for total metals analysis in wipes and air filters. Analyses are performed using Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption (CVAA), and colorimetric techniques. Please note that if an offeror was awarded a contract under solicitation PR-HQ-08-10532, is in good standing, and has successfully completed an onsite audit during the two (2) years prior to this solicitation’s release date, then it may request that the Government waive this requirement. It is the contractor’s responsibility to request a waiver. (See L.2--Instructions to Offerors.)
