Course Description
This course is an advanced study program to develop a working knowledge of transmissometer systems. It presents detailed operating characteristics of commercially available transmissometers and common maintenance techniques. Discussions focus on regulatory specifications for instrument design, installation, and performance testing. Both existing regulatory programs and the implications of pending specifications are considered.
