EPA's 2008 Report on the Environment describes current national environmental conditions and trends using existing data and indicators; identifies gaps and research needs; and discusses challenges in meeting these needs.

Envirofacts is a single point of access to select U.S. EPA environmental data bases with information about environmental activities that may affect air, water, and land anywhere in the United States.

Airtrends is EPA's annual report card on the status of air quality and air pollutant emissions.

National Water Quality Inventory Report to Congress (305(b) report) informs Congress and the public about general water quality conditions in the United States.

Performance Based-Government

Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) requires federal agencies to set goals and objectives and the measures EPA will use to assess progress in meeting them.
