| Partner Profile The US BCSD is a non-profit association of businesses whose purpose is to create and deliver value-driven sustainable development projects in the United States . Launched in 2002, the US BCSD is a partner organization of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), a global network of 180 international companies with members drawn from 30 countries and 20 major industrial sectors. One of the major initiatives of the US BCSD is to promote the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of contaminated urban and degraded rural sites using economic incentives to promote conserving ecosystems through a project platform called Ecosystem Services. |
