Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act Inspection Manual
EPA provides an Inspection Manual to federal inspectors who conduct compliance monitoring activities under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The Manual also may be helpful in orienting and training state and tribal pesticide inspectors.
The Manual was issued in 2002 and the policy, guidance, authorities, and objectives for carrying out standard field procedures is current as of that date. EPA may issue other guidance to assist inspectors that supplements or supercedes this Manual. The Manual does not cover every possible situation that pesticide inspectors may encounter, but is intended as a reference aid. It also does not include information on inspections under the Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) Standards and Worker Protection Standard (WPS).
