Tribal PWSS Program Allotments

Every year, Congress appropriates funds to assist eligible states, territories and Indian tribes in carrying out Public Water System Supervision (PWSS) programs. The funds set-aside to support tribal PWSS programs are allotted among EPA's Regional Offices, which in turn are responsible for managing a tribal program in their Region. A Fact Sheet describes the tribal program support grants in more detail.
