The Southeast Diesel Collaborative includes federal, state, and local governments, as well as the private sector and other partners. The goal of the Collaborative is to improve air quality and public health through the reduction of diesel emissions from existing engines and equipment in the agriculture, heavy construction, and on-road sectors.
2011 priority areas:
Green Corridors (idle reduction and alternative fueling along interstates)
Clean airports and water ports
Alternative fuels that replace diesel fuel
Greening goods movement in environmental justice communities
Geographic territory encompasses:
