Percentage SmartWay Miles Traveled by Fuel Type

This chart, based on 2011 Carrier Partner data, shows the percentage of miles traveled by SmartWay truck fleets using various fuel types. Gasoline comprises only 1.9 percent of the total, while LPG, LNG, CNG together make up about 0.14 percent of fuel used by fleet miles traveled.
Note that biodiesel is included in diesel usage, and ethanol is included in gasoline usage.
