U.S. Hop Industry Plant Protection Committee
(PESP Partner since February 1998)
The U.S. Hop Industry Plant Protection Committee (USHIPPC) is a subcommittee of the Hop Growers of America and the state hop commissions in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. These organizations represent the approximately 120 hop growers in the U.S. USHIPPC focuses on pest control issues, including providing information to growers on pesticides and international residue standards, working with EPA on pesticide registrations, and resolving international pesticide issues.
