Pesticide News Story: Four New Questions and Answers Posted to Labeling Q&A Web Page

For Release: October 14, 2011

The Labeling Consistency Committee has posted four new questions and answers to its Pesticide Labeling Questions and Answers Web page. The Web page is a tool through which the committee receives questions on general labeling policy issues from the public, including many registrants and state regulators, and develops answers for posting under more than three dozen subject matter headings. The committee has representatives of most Pesticide Program divisions as well as the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance and the Office of General Counsel.

The items posted most recently involve advertising claims in general and for a type of antimicrobial sanitizer, the use of Quick Response codes on labels and the use of certain graphic images to depict product fragrances. New items are tagged for 30 days. View these items at: http://www.epa.gov/pesticides/regulating/labels/labels_faq/lr_faq_1.html
