Pesticide News Story - EPA Extends Deadline For Filing Comments On Proposal For Revised Data Requirements For Conventional Chemicals

EPA is extending the comment period for comments on its proposal to update data requirements for conventional pesticide chemicals. The original proposal appeared in the Federal Register on March 11, 2005 (70 FR 12275), and requested comments by June 9, 2005. The Agency is extending the comment period to September 7, 2005, to allow stakeholders additional time to assess the impact of the proposed revisions on their particular situations and prepare their comments.
