Shell International Chemical Company submitted results of a 1-generation reproduction study following dermal application of calcium napthenate (rabbits) (49 FR 30114; July 26, 1984). This study is the result of a voluntary testing program.
Shell Oil Company submitted results of a 2-year cutaneous carcinogenicity study (mice) and a sebaceous gland suppression test (mice), both using calcium naphthenate (52 FR 13311; April 22, 1987). These studies are the result of a voluntary testing program.
