Announced Receipt of Test Data

Test data were submitted on behalf of the Chemical Manufacturers Association’s Cyclohexane Panel and received by EPA on February 20, 1996. The submission is a final report entitled “Acute Operant Behavior Study of Cyclohexane by Inhalation in Rats” (61 FR 11415; March 20, 1996).

Test data were submitted on behalf of the Chemical Manufacturers Association’s Cyclohexane Panel and received by EPA on May 20, 1996. The submission includes two final reports entitled “Dermal Absorption of (14C)Cyclohexane in Fischer 344 Rats. Comparison of the Disposition of Dermally and Intravenously Administered (14C)Cyclohexane” and “Guinea Pig Dermal Sensitization -Modified Buehler Method with Cyclohexane (H-21174)” (61 FR 29562; June 11, 1996).

Test data were submitted on behalf of the Cyclohexane Panel of the Chemical Manufacturers Association and received by EPA on August 19, 1996. The submission includes two final reports entitled (1) “90-Day Inhalation Neurotoxicity Study with Cyclohexane in Rats,” and (2) “90-Day Inhalation Toxicity Study with Cyclohexane in Mice” (61 FR 49135; September 18, 1996).

Test data were submitted on behalf of the Cyclohexane Panel of the Chemical Manufacturers Association and received by EPA on November 18, 1996. The submission includes a final reports entitled “90-Day Inhalation Toxicity Study with Cyclohexane in Rats” (61 FR 67333; December 20, 1996).

Test data were submitted on behalf of the Cyclohexane Panel of the Chemical Manufacturers Association and received by EPA on January 21, 1997. The submission includes a final reports entitled “Inhalation Developmental Toxicity Study of Cyclohexane in Rats” (62 FR 8956; February 27, 1997).

Test data were submitted on behalf of the Cyclohexane Panel of the Chemical Manufacturers Association (Chevron Chemical Company, CITGO Refining Chemicals, Co., LP, E.I. DuPont de Nemours Company, Huntsman Corporation, Koch Industries, Inc., Phillips Petroleum Company, and Sun Company, Inc.) and received by EPA on April 18, 1997. The submission includes a final reports entitled “Reproductive and Fertility Effects with Cyclohexane Inhalation Multigeneration Reproduction Study in Rats” (62 FR 31099; June 6, 1997).

Test data were submitted by the Cyclohexane Panel of the Chemical Manufacturers Association (Chevron Chemical Company, CITGO Refining Chemicals, Co., LP, E.I. DuPont de Nemours Company, Huntsman Corporation, Koch Industries, Inc., Phillips Petroleum Company, and Sun Company, Inc.) and received by EPA on June 16, 1997. The submission includes a final reports entitled “Inhalation Developmental Toxicity Study of Cyclohexane in Rabbits” (62 FR 39520; July 23, 1997).

Environmental release data for cyclohexane were submitted by the Cyclohexane Panel of the Chemical Manufacturers Association (Chevron Chemical Company, CITGO Refining Chemicals, Co., LP, E.I. DuPont de Nemours Company, Huntsman Corporation, Koch Industries, Inc., Phillips Petroleum Company, and Sun Company, Inc.) and received by EPA on September 19, 1997. The consent agreement stipulated that within 3 months following submission of the last study report required under the agreement, the companies would submit a final report to EPA summarizing the then current data on environmental releases of cyclohexane from facilities that manufacture, process, or use cyclohexane (62 FR 61821; November 19, 1997).
