Identification of Chemicals
Commercially produced isopropyl biphenyl (IPBP) contains varying amounts of diisopropyl biphenyl (DPBP) as a byproduct. Since DPBP is not isolated as a separate product, this decision applies to both chemicals. The acronym "IPBP/DPBP" refers to commercial IPBP products containing DPBP as a byproduct.
