R/V Lake Guardian Shipboard and Shoreline Science Workshop
Set Sail on the Lake Guardian Shipboard and Shoreline Workshop.
All Aboard! Come along with Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence (COSEE) Great Lakes and the Environmental Protection Agency, as we join fifteen 4th-10th grade teachers and non-formal educators from varied disciplines as they participate in a week-long workshop aboard the U. S. EPA's 180-foot research vessel (R/V) Lake Guardian, beginning and ending in Duluth, Minnesota.
Join us as we explore Lake Superior to learn more about how what we do on land affects water quality and the parallels between Great Lakes and ocean systems.
COSEE Great Lakes Shipboard and Shoreline Science Workshops are supported by the National Science Foundation and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
