EPA Strategy for Working with MAIs

Mission Implementation – Partner with MAIs to accomplish EPA's mission of protecting human health and the environment.

Outreach – Increase EPA's presence at MAIs through recruiting, student mentorship, technical assistance, and assistance agreements.

Research/Review – Work with MAIs in EPA's Peer Review process and encouraging MAI participation on Federal Advisory Committees.

Exchange – Seek opportunities for EPA staff to speak/teach at MAIs, and opportunities for MAI faculty to present/research at EPA.
