Louisiana

Household Hazardous Waste Materials Collection
The Baton Rouge Recycling Office will hold its household hazardous waste materials collection event in Spring 2009. For more information, call (225) 389-5194.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
The Tammany Parish will hold its household hazardous waste collection event on March 28, 2009 from 9:00 -12:00 noon. The location is the St. Tammany Parish commuter parking lot next to the Northshore Harbor Center, off of Lakeshore Boulevard East in Slidell (Exit 261 off of I-10.). Please make note that materials cannot be accepted before or after the stated hours.

The New Mexico Environment Department maintains a list of locations throughout the state where fluorescent light bulbs can be taken for recycling. Albuquerque Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program
The City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County residents may take fluorescent light bulbs to the household hazardous waste collection center located at 6133 Edith Blvd NE (on west side of Edith between Montano and Osuna) during the specified hours of operation. Santa Fe County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
The County holds an annual Spring household hazardous waste drop-off collection event which usually occurs during the month of April. For specific information, residents can contact the Santa Fe County Solid Waste Division at (505) 992-3010.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility
The City of Oklahoma City's Stormwater Division operates a household hazardous waste collection facility that is free to residents of Oklahoma City. Residents should take their City water bill as proof of residency. Apartment dwellers have to show their drivers license and another form of identification. Residents of The Village, Yukon, Tinker Air Force Base, Shawnee and Edmond can take their household hazardous waste to this facility also, but will be charged for the service through their municipality.
