Consultation and Coordination on the Draft Plan - Environmental Protection Agency-Wide Plan to Provide Solid Waste Management Capacity Assistance to Tribes
The official consultation and coordination period on The Environmental Protection Agency-Wide Plan to Provide Solid Waste Management Capacity Assistance to Tribes (the Plan) ended on November 8, 2012. However, EPA recognizes the correlation between the Proposed Guidance on the Award and Management of General Assistance Agreements for Tribes and Intertribal Consortia (Guidance), previously titled The Guidebook for Building Tribal Environmental Capacity, and the Plan. Therefore, EPA will consider solid waste-related comments made during the consultation period for the Guidance as the Plan is finalized. This will ensure consistency between the Plan and the Guidance. The consultation and coordination period for the Guidance ends on February 22, 2013. Both the Plan and the Guidance will be finalized by May 2013.
