U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Mobile Sources April 1999 Directory contents for the OMS/OMS3_OMS4/xymap directory. The following directory contains files of the layer 1 hourly gridded ozone predictions for the Revised 1995/1996 Base Year and Revised 2007 Budget model runs performed for the Final NOx SIP call and the predictions for the OMS3 and OMS4 scenarios. Each file contains data for a single day in the standard UAM-V "xymap" format. Data are provided for the following emission scenarios: -- OMS 3 -- OMS 4 -- Revised_9596_base -- Revised_2007_budget The naming convention used for these files is described below using the following file as an example: OMS3/map88/mapL1_01jul88_OMS3.gz OMS3: scenario name directory map88: output directory for specific episode map: file type - map file denotes hourly data L1: data are from Layer 1 of the model ( lowest layer ) 01jul88: episode date of the data in the file OMS3: scenario code gz: gzip The following is an example of the ouput file for the OMS3 model runs. OMS3 Runs: .../map88/mapL1.*jul88_OMS3.gz *denotes data are provided for 01 through 15jul88 .../map91/mapL1.*jul91_OMS3.gz *denotes data are provided for 13 through 21jul91 .../map93/mapL1.*jul93_OMS3.gz *denotes data are provided for 20 through 30jul93 .../map95/mapL1.*jul95_OMS3.gz *denotes data are provided for 07 through 18jul95 These files are in binary format. Use the fortran code "ascii.f" to read the xymap files and to write them in ascii format. This program must be compiled using a UNIX fortran compiler.
