U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Resources
- Community Action for a Renewed Environment (CARE)
This is a competitive grant program that offers an innovative way for a community to organize and take action to reduce toxic pollution in its local environment. Through CARE, a community creates a partnership that implements solutions to reduce releases of toxic pollutants and minimize people's exposure to them.
A program, sponsored by the EPA with state and local air quality agencies, that provides important air quality information such as forecasts and action day notifications via email or pager notification.

A unique public education and partnership-building initiative developed collaboratively by several federal agencies to help regional, state, and community efforts to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution.

A California state agency working to maintain healthy air quality, conduct research on air pollution, and reduce motor vehicle air pollution.

- National Association of Clean Air Agencies (NACAA, formerly formerly STAPPA and ALAPCO)
This site allows users to locate state and local air agencies across the nation and access the latest information on important air pollution topics.
- The Association of Air Pollution Control Agencies (AAPCA)
An organization focused on assisting air quality agencies and personnel with implementation and technical issues associated with the federal Clean Air Act.
