Wyoming has not yet been granted state program approval (SPA). Five of the six states in Region 8 have approved programs.

Number of confirmed releases	1,998 (national total: 474,127)
Number of cleanups completed	1,070 (national total: 365,361)
Number of cleanups in backlog to be completed	928 (national total: 108,766)

Percent of facilities in significant operational compliance with:

	Release prevention requirements	91%
	Release detection requirements	94%
	Both prevention and release detection requirements	85%
