- Boral Bricks is the largest manufacturer and distributor of bricks in the United States. In 2006 and 2008, Boral commissioned new plants in Union City, Oklahoma, and Terre Haute, Indiana. Both plants were located in close proximity to mature landfills in order to capture the LFG. The LFG is used as the primary fuel in the brick kilns as an alternative to natural gas.
