- UGI Development Company (UGID) is operating one of the largest LFG energy plants in the state of Pennsylvania. Co-existing with a direct-use project in the hills of Schuylkill County, PA, this project is the first of its kind in the state. They are operating two Solar Taurus 60 turbines, making nearly 11 MW when operating at full capacity. This is UGID's first experience designing, building, and operating an LFG energy plant of this capacity. Construction was completed in late 2008 and the plant was in operation as of January 2009.
