2008 Application Process
Water Efficiency Leader Awards

Please Note: Past winners will not be eligible in order to provide opportunity for the other organizations and individuals to be recognized as a Water Efficiency Leader. Thank you for understanding. EPA will continue to recognize past winners at www.epa.gov/water/wel.

Deadline and Process

All nominations must be postmarked by August 29, 2008. Projects may be self-nominated or nominated by a third party. Organizations and individuals interested in applying for the 2008 Water Efficiency Leader Awards will need to complete an application form and provide a one page (single sided) description of the project being nominated. Up to two pages of supporting materials (two single pages or one double sided page) may also be submitted, see application form for details.

Judging

A panel of judges composed of a mixture of industry experts and past Water Efficiency Leader Award winners will judge applications for 2008. Judges will individually evaluate and score the applications based upon scoring criteria provided by EPA. EPA will make the ultimate decision based in part upon the scores submitted by the individual judges.
