Who am I?

Estuaries are filled with lots of different animals—from birds that stop in for a season on their way to somewhere else to turtles, crabs, and other animals that spend their whole lives in estuaries. These animals fall into two groups—"vertebrates" (animals with backbones) and "invertebrates" (animals without backbones). Can you think of some examples of vertebrates and invertebrates? How about you? Do you have a backbone?

Try this game to see if you can identify some of the animals that call estuaries home.
