Planning is essential for decision-making on dredged material issues. EPA supports the development of local and
regional dredged material management plans, and the formation of
Local Planning Groups (to develop these plans.
EPA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers work for responsible and timely planning of dredging and dredged material
management through the National Dredging Team.
