Hull Coating Leachate

Hull coating leachate consists of constituents that leach, dissolve, ablate, or erode from the paint on the vessel’s hull into the surrounding water. The anticipated standard will require Armed Forces vessels to use antifouling paints that meet a maximum allowable copper release rate.
