EPA Blue Ribbon Water Quality Trading Leadership Awards Program

This awards program, which occurred in 2007, recognized water quality trading efforts that have achieved or are anticipated to achieve environmental and economic benefits. It accomplished several goals:
- Encouraged exemplary efforts
- Promoted water quality trading by creating a network of water quality trading leaders
- Provided national recognition to award recipients
