2003 Council Grants:
Girl Scouts of Rhode Island
Project Title: Outdoor Adventures
Project Description: Through Project Wild, Project Wild Aquatic and Leave No Trace trainings and camping programs, girls and adults were taught responsible use and stewardship of the land, primitive camping and hiking skills, the importance of incorporating Leave No Trace skills and ethics in everyday life and shared their skills with others in their council. Girls explored environmental careers and completed the requirements for Girl Scout badges and interest project patches.
