Substitutes in Rigid Polyurethane, Slabstock and Other
Substitutes are reviewed on the basis of ozone depletion potential, global warming potential, toxicity, flammability, and exposure potential. Lists of acceptable and unacceptable substitutes are updated several times each year. A chronological list of SNAP updates is also available.

zero-ODP. Exemptions exist for (1) the use of
HCFC-141b for space vehicle, nuclear and defense
foam applications, (2) the use of HCFC-141b for

formulated HCFC-141b foam systems in inventory
before January 1, 2005, until July 1, 2005. See the
