• From 2000-2006, Performance Track members that set goals for this indicator decreased their toxic discharges to water by a cumulative total of 2,995 tons. Although discharges in year 3 were higher than the baseline, reductions in years 1 and 2 offset the increase in year 3. See the data table for details.
  
  
• If the members had instead continued with business as usual, they would have increased their toxic discharges to water by 4,085 tons over the three years.
