Governors' Letters to Performance Track Members

To help recognize the hard work of Performance Track members and to celebrate the program's 5th anniversary, EPA composed a congratulatory letter tailored to each Performance Track facility and submitted it to the appropriate state governor's office for signature. These letters were designed to help governors' offices understand and appreciate the environmental leadership of Performance Track members.

EPA sent the letters to governors in late October 2006, and a number of governors or their representatives have signed the letter and distributed it to Performance Track members in their states.
