How to submit your application directly to EPA.
| Action Code Interpretation: | A new microbial or biochemical pesticide active ingredient. The use requires the applicant submit a petition to establish a tolerance under section 408 of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). A tolerance is the maximum residue level permitted for a pesticide active ingredient in or on food or animal feed, in accordance with FFDCA. All uses (food and/or non-food) included in any original application or petition for a new active ingredient or a first food uses that otherwise satisfy the conditions for the category are covered by the base fee for that application. |
