| Action Code Interpretation: | An Experimental Use Permit (EUP) application for a new food use(s) includes a proposed food for any U. S. registered active ingredient that is currently not registered for the proposed use. Food/feed commodities covered by the pending application(s) must have a certification that all food/feed treated under the EUP will be destroyed or fed to experimental animals for testing purposes only. Some examples of food uses include corn, apples, and aquatic uses involving potable water, irrigation, or requiring tolerances for fish, or shellfish, pasture, rangeland, home garden, beehive, livestock, livestock housing, livestock dips, and livestock ear tags. |
