EPA plans to issue a Class VI permit to allow ADM to inject and store carbon dioxide, or CO2 , underground at a facility in Macon County, Illinois.
EPA is accepting comments from the public on the draft permits until May 30, 2014.

FutureGen Industrial Alliance, Inc.

EPA plans to issue Class VI permits to allow the FutureGen Alliance to inject and store carbon dioxide, or CO2 , underground at a facility in Morgan County, Illinois, approximately 11 miles northeast of Jacksonville.
EPA accepted comments from the public on the draft permits until May 15, 2014.

NuEnergy Operating, Inc.

EPA proposes to modify the Class II permit previously granted to NuEnergy Operating, Inc. of Gaylord Michigan.  The modification will allow NuEnergy to inject waste fluid underground at a greater pressure.  EPA is accepting written comments on the proposed modification until Tuesday, August 5, 2014.

EPA has withdrawn this Class II injection well permit.  EPA will prepare a new draft permit for this well.  EPA is taking this action under 40 CFR 124.19(j) which allows EPA to withdraw a permit and prepare a new draft permit before a certain stage of the permit appeal proceedings.
