EPA and MultiAgency Cleanup Tools:

Why revise MARSSIM?

The state of the science in radiation measurement has improved and the type and number of radiation measurement methods have increased since MARSSIM was first issued in 1997. In addition, “lessons learned” over the past thirteen years of use have yielded improvements to the MARSSIM process.

This presentation was given at the February 10, 2011 public meeting on the MARSSIM Revisions on February 10, 2011, 2-4 PM in Conference Room 1117A, EPA East Building, 1201 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. It provides additional details on revisions currently planned to MARSSIM.
