This schedule authorizes the disposition of the record copy in any media (media neutral), excluding any records already in electronic form. Records designated for permanent retention must be transferred to the National Archives in accordance with NARA standards at the time of transfer.

Files contain original claim forms for indemnification, contractor's report, invoices and/or affidavits, certification documents, notification of payment, and correspondence between the claimant and the contractor.

Reasons for Disposition:
The following change was made in the 10/31/2011 version:
- Deleted item b which is covered by EPA 089.
Records are required by statute. Indemnification occurs when the Administrator notifies a pesticide registrant of the intent to suspend and cancel a registration or that an emergency order of suspension has been issued. Persons owning any quantity of the pesticide may request an indemnity payment from the Administrator.
