This schedule authorizes the disposition of the record copy in any media (media neutral), excluding any records already in electronic form. Records designated for permanent retention must be transferred to the National Archives in accordance with NARA standards at the time of transfer.

Contains records relating to mailing lists, including correspondence, request forms, card lists, and other records related to mailing list changes.
Excludes: The actual mailing lists should be filed with the related records (e.g., a mailing list used for a public meeting would be kept with the records for the public meeting). More routine, administrative mailing lists are covered by EPA 110 - Office Administrative Files.
Item a: Correspondence, request forms, and other records relating to changes in mailing lists
Destroy after appropriate revision of mailing list or after 3 months, whichever is sooner.
Item b: Card lists
Destroy individual cards when canceled or revised.
Mailing lists maintained in PC-based systems are covered in EPA 090 - Administrative Support Data Bases.
Reasons for Disposition:
Conforms to NARA's General Records Schedule 13, item 4.
Item c for electronic mail and word processing system copies deleted 08/23/2006 pursuant to NARA Bulletin 2006-04.
