FOR DATES: From 7:00 a.m. Friday, October 1, 1999 to 7:00 a.m. Friday, October 8, 1999.

The prime contractor, OHM, continued to demobilize equipment and facilities from the site.

OHM is currently working 4 ten-hour days Monday through Thursday. Site activities during the time frame of this report included the re-paving of Myrtle Street, the placement of geo textile fabric and rock on parking areas and the lotting of government property. A subcontractor re-paved Myrtle from the east gate to the west gate and a small portion just east of the railroad tracks. The contractor continues to final grade the area east of the ash buildings and place geo-textile fabric and rock. The public relations trailer was prepped for shipment off site. Other site activities were dust control and the shipment of debris and scrap metal. Related site activities included a weekly progress meeting held on Tuesday, October 5, 1999, with representatives from the USACE, PADEP, OHM and the city of Lock Haven. Major activities for the next week include the completion of the parking areas east of the TDF pad, the shipment of the public relations trailer off site, and work on the corridor road and project close out punch list items. A hydrostatic test of the storm drain drop inlets will be performed. Excess government property will continue to be sorted into lots in the ash buildings. Contractor and rental equipment will be shipped off site to other locations.
