- Mid-Atlantic Green Cleanup Symposium: Integrating Green Approaches for Site Cleanup and Sustainable Reuse CANCELLED - Severe weather forced the cancellation of the Green Cleanup Symposium originally scheduled for February 10-11, 2010, at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Partners are currently working on possible dates to reschedule the event.

- View Region 3's new Greener Cleanup & Sustainable Reuse Policy. (PDF) (2 pp, 392K) EPA Region 3 Hazardous Site Cleanup Division and Land and Chemicals Division Directors have signed the Greener Cleanup and Sustainable Reuse Policy. The policy is based on the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) Principles for Greener Cleanups, issued by Mathy Stanislaus, Assistant Administrator for OSWER, in August 2009. It applies to Superfund, Federal Facilities, Brownfields, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action, and Leaking Underground Storage Tanks.
