Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD)
This page explains how to submit electronic site data for Superfund sites in Region 3. This electronic data could include many types of site information, such as base maps, sampling locations, and analytical laboratory results. In an effort to be consistent with similar electronic data projects in other EPA Regions, Region 3 has selected the data delivery format developed by EPA Region 2 (New York).
EPA Region 2 has an excellent user’s manual and other information for this EDD available at: http://www.epa.gov/region02/superfund/medd.htm. Please visit that website for more details on the EDD format, validation procedures and training opportunities.
EDD File Checker
Once your data is organized into the EDD format, please visit this EarthSoft web site and download the “Equis Data Processor” (EDP):

This program will help you verify that your data is in the proper format before sending it to Region 3. This program also includes a file of “valid values” for all of the data entry fields.
