You're Invited to a Public Meeting on the Galaxy/Spectron Superfund Site

Officials from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will discuss a proposed cleanup plan to address the cleanup of contaminated shallow soil on the Plant Site. The plan calls for continuing to contain and treat the groundwater, treating the soil in place, and adding a protective cover over the Plant Site.

The public may comment on the Proposed Plan between June 20 and July 20, 2003.
