Drilling Vertical Monitoring Well #7D (D is for Deep) [Click to enlarge]

Two of the four deep bedrock wells were drilled downstream of the site in areas where trace fractures in the bedrock may exist. If contamination exists off site it will most likely show up in these fracture zones. [Click to enlarge]

2001: A new carbon treatment system provides extra capacity to clean contaminated groundwater.

2000: Workers near end of construction of the ground water treatment plant at Spectron.

1999: Workers at the Galaxy/Spectron site place topsoil atop the island created in the upper portion of the stream.

1999: Workers at the Spectron site fill metal mesh gabion baskets with stones. The baskets keep the stones from shifting out of position while the stream returns to a natural state.
