1. Updated Study Area

Sampled approximately 500 properties
Two-hundred fourteen properties contain soil lead concentration of 500 mg/kg or less and do not require soil clean-ups.
Seventy-eight properties contain soil lead concentrations of 1200 mg/kg or greater.

a. Seventy-one out of the 78 properties have been cleaned-up or are currently
undergoing soil clean-ups.

b. Seven out of the 78 properties will be addressed in subsequent clean-ups.

Approximately 208 properties contain soil lead concentrations between 500 mg/kg and 1200 mg/kg. These properties will be evaluated as part of the Step Two Investigation.

Determine site-specific clean-up levels that will be protective of human health and the environment.
Focus on target groups (i.e., children seven years old or younger and pregnant women).
