The RCRA program uses a national database, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Information System (RCRAInfo), to track facility-specific hazardous waste data. This database contains a range of information on enforcement, permitting and compliance monitoring activities for generators, transporters, and treatment, storage, or disposal facilities. RCRAInfo is maintained by EPA Regions and States who submit routine updates to the database.
- RCRAInfo Region 3 - a portal to hazardous waste data management resources and information located across the various Web sites of EPA Region 3, other EPA regional offices, EPA headquarters, and sites outside EPA. This site is intended for use primarily by state environmental agencies, waste management staff, and the regulated community. The site also provides access to hazardous waste information that is available to the general public.
- Data for Generators, Transporters, and Treatment and Disposal Facilities can be found under the Office of Solid Waste, Hazardous Waste Data on the worldwide Web.
- Biennial Reporting (BR) - Large quantity generators who generate and transport hazardous waste off site must submit a Biennial Report to their State environmental agency by March 1 of each even numbered year. Generators who treat, store, or dispose of their hazardous waste onsite must also submit a Biennial Report that describes the type and quantity of hazardous waste the facility handled during the year, and the method(s) of treatment, storage, or disposal used.
All BR data and national reports information can be found under the Office of Solid Waste, Hazardous Waste Data on the worldwide web.
