Sustainable Communities Webinar Series: Northeast Forum on Climate and Waste Connections
EPA Funding Opportunities for Clean Diesel Projects

EPA Region 2 hosted a series of free web-based information sessions and discussions with experts pertaining to clean diesel practices and strategies.  The sessions were intended to share information with local governments (i.e. municipalities, counties, etc.), planning organizations and other interested parties on several clean diesel topics such as air quality and climate change impacts, green construction, biofuels, and funding opportunities.  Ultimately, these sessions help communities integrate clean diesel practices into their environmental plans.  The goals of these information sessions include:

  • Inform participants on current and successful clean diesel strategies
  • Provide guidance for obtaining federal funding for projects
  • Work with communities to incorporate clean diesel practices into environmental plans.

The second of these webinars is available here. The audio recording from the session is posted below (as an mp3 file) along with the powerpoint slides (as a pdf file).

You will need the free Adobe Reader to view some of the files on this page. See EPA's PDF page to learn more.
