This year EPA is commemorating 10 years of working to improve the environmental health of children an important effort because children are more vulnerable to sources of pollution than adults. One of our success stories is reducing the number of children diagnosed with lead poisoning. But there is still more work to be done. If your house was built before 1978, it could contain lead paint without your knowing it.
