NATIONAL BROWNFIELDS 2004 CONFERENCE IN ST. LOUIS OFFERS VALUABLE INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS, PHOENIX AWARD PRESENTED TO LOCAL HOTELS

The Brownfields 2004 Conference features a program loaded with valuable educational sessions, mobile workshops, and walking tours. The conference is being held through Wednesday at the America’s Center, 701 Convention Plaza, St. Louis. Below is a schedule for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.

The 2004 Phoenix Award for EPA Region 7 was presented Tuesday to the Renaissance Grand and Suites Hotels of St. Louis. The Phoenix Award winners represent outstanding brownfield projects from each of the 10 EPA regions and the international community.For more information on the awards, including other winners, visit www.brownfields2004.org.

The Brownfields conference looks at ways to clean up and reuse environmentally contaminated or potentially contaminated properties.
